    All foreign nationals willing to travel to Iran are required to apply for an Iran tourist visa in order to visit country for purpose of sightseeing and or visiting family members or friends. However, the process is still easy despite being difficult to apply for a visa in same cases and or for some o the nationals such as American, British and or Canadian. Follow this article to get to know how to apply for a visa to visit Iran.
    Iran tourist visa on arrival (VOA)

    It sounds easy when talking about visa on arrival, however, travelers can now (since February 2016) obtain 30 days / one month tourist visa once landed in any of Iranian international airports ( IKA, Esfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad and Tabriz).

    Citizens of following countries are not allowed to get a visa on arrival:

    USA, UK, Canada, Colombia, Somalia, Bangladesh, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.
    Document in order to get your visa stamped upon arrival:

    A confirmed return ticket
    A valid passport with at least 6 months validity
    A photo to be attached to the Iran visa application form
    Visa stamp fee, which is payable to the Iran Visa & Passport Office at the airport. This is vary depend on your nationality
    An invitation letter or hotel reservation voucher.

    Iran Tourist visa beforehand

    This is a safest and a worry-free way to get our visa and travel to country with a visa stamped into your passport, to do this, you have two option:

    Refer to Iranian embassy and or consulate
    Book an Iran Tour and get a Free Visa Approval Code

    To travel to Iran you are welcome to refer to any Iranian embassy all around the world to apply for a tourist visa, this visa issued for 30 days and it takes about 10 business days to issue, however, embassy in most cases ask the applicants to prove confirmed hotel reservation and or a contact person in Iran, this makes the visa a little bit difficult, however, there are many cases who enter the county with a visa obtained through the Iranian embassies.

    The second way seems much easier, applicants who book an Iran tours will get a free visa approval code to which they are allowed to refer to Iranian embassy and get their visa stamped before traveling to the country. The tour organizer is responsible to get you the visa code once your tour has been confirmed.
